AN INVISIBLE ORDER

“A spirit glided past my face, and the hair on my body stood on end.”—Job 4:15 (NIV)

I was in a very dark, disturbed, and remote parking lot, and I could feel darkness encompassing me in every direction. God uprooted the veil of the natural from my eyes, and I could see into the spirit realm with striking detail. I was face-to-face with seven to twelve-foot agents of the kingdom of darkness. God personally allowed me to see a horde of demons face-to-face to construct this front cover (April 2016). In the supernatural, they have physical bodies. Demons are like the mafia; when you find one, you find a bunch of them. Many people believe demonic powers operate in foreign countries that give people protruding, cat-like, phosphoric eyes with ignorance and superstition and will not cross the Rio Grande. That is not the case!

These sinister black objects were humanoid in shape, with one head, two elongated arms, and two legs. Their head resembles a werewolf with green and red phosphorus hypnotic eyes, an extended snout, triangular ears, thick fur on the back of their necks, and tails. These demons had teeth that could crush a human skull—canines, premolars, and molars—and their teeth pattern is similar to a wolf’s. Their bone structure is massive and eerily proportional. I was in the supernatural and the natural simultaneously. The natural cannot touch the supernatural, but the supernatural can touch the natural.

God allowed me to breach the supernatural with my vision and see how every Christian is protected and barricaded by an invisible host when the prince of darkness is on the move for the kill. While I was eyeballed with the demonic, the situation seemed horrendous and grim; I uttered a guttural prayer, and God heard my internal cry from the pulpit of my heart. Then, the consuming fire of God exploded around me, like the Hiroshima atomic warhead Little Boy, causing the spirit of fear to be emasculated.

I could visibly see the firewall of God scorching around me; it was so bright, beautiful, and brilliant. I was utterly engulfed in His consuming fire. Just think of the brightest artillery shells exploding around you and in your face, a 4th of July artillery explosion inside the cab of my truck. “For our God is a consuming fire” (Hebrews 12:29, NKJV). Prayer is the sinister silencer! When evil tries to prevail, God does not send someone; He shows up Himself!

This would be best described as a theophany, which is a manifestation of God that is tangible to human senses. Many people in the Bible witnessed theophanies or appearances of God (Genesis 12:7–9; Genesis 18:1–33; Genesis 32:22–30; Exodus 3:2). This is plagiarized from the Pentateuch: “Moses and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and the seventy elders of Israel went up and saw the God of Israel” (Exodus 24:9–10, NIV).

In the early genesis of God’s Word, Israel (Jacob) fought with the Angel of the Lord who is later revealed to be God. “…and a Man wrestled with him until the breaking of day. Now when He saw that He did not prevail against him, He touched the socket of his hip; and the socket of Jacob’s hip was out of joint as He wrestled with him” (Genesis 32:24–25, NKJV). If you try to beatbox God, you will find out your arms are not long enough.

After the wrestling match was over, the Bible says, “So Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: ‘For I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved’” (Genesis 32:30, NKJV). However, Jacob did not see God the Father in all His glory. On a purely physical level, Jacob wrestled a theophany or Christophany, a manifestation of God in human form.

What do we do with John 1:18? “No one has seen God at any time” (NKJV). This statement refers to the spiritual nature of God, and we are naturally limited to conceiving and perceiving Him. Meaning, truly seeing God the Father in the brilliance of His glory is more than any mortal flesh can tolerate. No one, though, other than Jesus Christ, has seen God in all of His glory. No one can see the face of God and live. Even the seraphim in heaven cover their eyes as they worship God (Isaiah 6:1–4).

“…which He will manifest in His own time, He who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. Amen.”—1 Timothy 6:15–16 (NKJV)

The is what I was face-to-face with. This is a depiction of what real demons look like. These are not the same as the ones locked in black dungeons of hell (Jude 1:6).
